Business Man Who Shot And Killed Friend, Granted Bail


A 70-year-old businessman from Clarendon was arrested yesterday and charged with the murder of Gilbert Smith.  

Charged is Gregory Sinclair. He shot and killed Gilbert "Matic" Smith, 50, a former truck driver of Frankfield on September 5 while they were at a candle light vigil. 

Both men got into an argument vigil when Sinclair who is a licensed firearm holder pulled his weapon and opened fire at his former friend, killing him on the spot. 

Yesterday when he went before the judge, he was granted $500,000 bail.
