U.S Dentist Whose License Was Revoked Causes Uproar In Jamaica Where He Is Practicing Dentistry


An American dentist who's license to practice dentistry was revoked in the U.S. has caused an uproar in Jamaica where he is practicing. 

While in the U.S. the dentist Stephen M. Kaufman was arrested and charged with reckless endangerment, driving under the influence, and violation of implied consent. 

While these charges didn't specifically says how they are related to him practicing dentistry, his license was revoked after he fail to get treatment for his alcoholism. 

His legal troubles stem from 2003, when he removes a 11-year-old child tooth without the approval of the parent. 

Also in 2007, he was punished for failing to provide permission documents on a patient he performed a procedure on. 

He later moved to St. Ann Jamaica where he continues to perform dentistry. 

Even though he claimed to have legal working documents, he failed to show them. 

A numerous amount of Jamaican have express their concern has to why he is able to pravtice dentistry in Jamaica when the  U.S already revoked his license?  Or in their exact words "the U.S. nuh want him"
