Bronx Woman Arraigned on Murder and Kidnapping Charges

The Bronx woman who was arrested for killing her childhood friend at her house on Monticello Ave. in Wakefield. At her arraignment via video, she pleas not guilty from her hospital bed.

Ashleigh Wade, 22, was held without bail for the slaying of Angelikque Sutton on Nov. 20, and cutting the baby from her stomach. 

The accused told investigators that she stabbed Sutton in the neck during an argument, then cut open Sutton’s stomach to save the newborn.
