Parents Of Murdered 3-Year Old Officially Charged


The mother and stepfather of  Nevalesia Campbell, 3 whose body was found with chop wounds in bushes in Brown's Town, St. Ann on Sunday are official charged for the toddler death. 

Her mother Mahalia Poyser, 24 and her common law husband Roy Dawes, 30-year-old plummer are charged with breaches of the Child Care and Protection Act on Monday night according to Superintendent Gary Francis, acting Commander of the St. Ann Police Division, 
According to the investigators, both adults left Nevalesia and her brother unsupervised while they attend a party in the community. The mother discovered the child missing after returning from the event. 
The individual that was taken into custody on Monday will be also be questioned.
